Praia A Mare lies on the northern coastline of Calabria, one of the first towns as you cross the border into Calabria from Naples via Campania and then Basilicata. A small town of approximately 7000 permanent residents the town has everything to offer you, for a truly fun and relaxing holiday.

Praia and other towns along the coastline of Calabria are becoming popular holiday destinations with plenty of accommodation to rent or buy. Property prices are still good and housing is built to a high standard. They are kept within local planning regulations, hence no multi storey blocks, and there are still many places to rent or buy.

There is plenty for all the family to do and it is a wonderful area to tour by car or train. From the beach facilities to the restaurants and shops there is everything you could need for your stay.  

A LITTLE ABOUT US

We have had a home in Praia a Mare since 1987 and our current home was specially built for us when we decided to stay.

Pasquale is originally from Sorrento Naples, so is a native and Marilyn has spent over 35 years holidaying in Italy.

Our home is your 'home from home' whilst travelling or touring and we warmly you to our quiet house and garden with stunning views all around.

We have two small dogs who are family pets- they love everybody but if you are not keen on dogs or have any allergies please let us know. Many of our friends have stayed with us and fallen in love with the area. They come back again and again and have even bought properties in the area.
